Sell My Carteret House is a website for homeowners in Carteret, New Jersey who want to sell a house for cash and would like to understand the process before they start.
What the site does
It explains how selling for cash works in several common situations, and it lets you send a request about your house. Your request is passed to cash home buyers, or reviewed by us where that applies, and someone follows up. The site itself is not described here as buying houses, because that is not something it has confirmed about itself.
Why Carteret
Carteret is a borough in Middlesex County, New Jersey, and this site is written for people with a house there. It does not claim a history of local sales, a number of houses bought or any relationship with the borough, which it does not have. It is not affiliated with the Borough of Carteret or any government agency.
What is not yet confirmed
A site that asks for your address and phone number should say who is behind it. The owner of this site has not yet supplied the following, so they are not shown, and nothing has been invented in their place:
- The legal name of the business behind the site.
- A business address, phone number and email address.
- Any licence or registration held, and in which state.
- Which buyers or partners receive requests, and how they are chosen.
Until that is added, treat this website as a place to learn and to send a request, and ask direct questions of anyone who contacts you. A reputable buyer will answer them in writing.
What we ask of you
Keep copies of what you send and receive, ask for terms in writing and use an attorney you choose. See how it works for the steps, the FAQ for common questions and the privacy page for what happens to the details you send.
A note on tone
This site is written to be plain about what it knows and does not know. If you spot a statement that sounds like a promise, it is a mistake, and the contact page explains how to say so.
